The event is organised by the Italian National node of the Research Data Alliance (RDA) and is dedicated to experts in the Agriculture field that may not know the Research Data Alliance network, how they can benefit from it, and improve their research by meeting experts in different domains working on ways to enable open sharing of data. An open and interactive discussion session at the end of the workshop aims at proposing new topics for discussion within existing or new Interest and Working Groups in RDA. The workshop will welcome professors, researchers, technologists and PhD students working in the agriculture and related fields.

What does it mean for researchers to open their data and how can they benefit from it? How can data be shared and what are the basics of Open Access and Open Science in the agricultural domain? How can RDA help researchers in practice in sharing research data in different fields related to agriculture? These are some questions we will try to answer.
