ICST 2019, the 12th IEEE International Conference on Software Testing, Verification and Validation, has assigned the prestigious "Most Influential Paper Award for Scientific Impact" to the paper "WS-TAXI: A WSDL-based Testing Tool for Web Services" by Cesare Bartolini, Antonia Bertolino, Eda Marchetti, and Andrea Polini, which had been presented at ICST 2009. The prestigious award is given to a research paper selected from the conference edition held ten years before that stood the test of time. The authors have been invited to ICST 2019 in Xi'an, China (April 22-27), to present a retrospective of the research work that produced the WS-TAXI tool and further developments after its publication.
