Francesco Conti was awarded the 6th Under 35 Years Best Paper Award at the 7th International Workshop on Advanced Infrared Technology and Applications (AITA), held in Venice on 11-13 September 2023. The Award was assigned by the chairmen and the co-chairmen in honour of Ermanno Grinzato, AITA co-chairman for a long time and renowned scientist in the thermography community. Francesco was awarded for the outstanding presentation of the paper "Alzheimer Disease Detection from Raman Spectroscopy of the Cerebrospinal Fluid via Topological Machine Learning".
